Hay Job Evaluation is a business management methodology for the purpose of understanding all the existing roles within an organization. It can be used to produce an organisation "map" which enables banding for salaries and benefits, recognises jobs at a similar level of responsibility and can aid succession planning by also recognising jobs that require closely related skills and breadth.
